The project has few subprojects. Some of them are developed in parallel and others are part of the end of the global project

3D Arquitectures
At the general level, we aim at gaining experience on 3D architectures by studying three different systems on which we have an extensive experience, like particle filters, visual and acoustic neural processors and piecewise linear computation structures.
At the practical level, several steps are necessary. In the first place, it is necessary to develop test structures of standard digital and analog circuits, including photodiodes for image acquisition. In the second place, it is necessary to develop a design flow, including place and route tools to deal efficiently with 3D structures.
