Collaborative Research
Development of a data and voice network for the
Bahía Blanca Grain Stock Market. This institution is one of the three most important
Grain Stock Market of our country. As a part of a teem I started a project denominated
R.A.D.A.R. (in English Agro-Economic Network for Regional Management) that uses human
resources (professional of different disciplines), technological support (satellite
images), infrastructure (facilities and mobilities), computer science (data bases),
communicational (mechanisms of visual and written transference), etc. in order to
implement a GIS (Geographic Information System). My task was centered in the advising
respect to the communication technologies and the training of personnel of the team for
the development of an Intranet and a Web Site that would give support to part of the
system. I also have an important role in the design and implementation of the Intranet

Institutional relationship with The Federal Investment Fund that
participates in active form in the evaluation of projects that were presented to the
DIE3k contest. DIE3K is for undergraduates and postgraduate student from the School of
Electrical Engineering and Computers. The primary aim of DIE3K is to stimulate and award
the entrepreneur initiative and team work. Selected projects are financed by this
company.
I am manager and chief investigator of R&D projects with EG3 SA. EG3
SA is a Oil refinery. This plant was part of Repsol-YPF and actually owned by Petrobras
Brasil.
Dow Chemical, an international chemical industry, organized a series of
specialization courses. I participated in the design and teaching courses addressing
Industrial Instrumentation for automatic control. The course had to be designed for
operators with different level of expertise creating an additional challenges to
implement teaching notes and laboratories.
As part of an agreement between the University and ABB (Asea Brown
Boveri), I have an active participation in the design and program implementation of the
full automation of two oil industry property of Oleaginosa Moreno, one in General
Villegas, Buenos Aires, and the other in Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires. I also had an
active participation automation of ship loading operation in Puerto Galvan, Bahía Blanca.
